Hello 4K Families!
We had a great start to the 4K year last week. We made it through some tears and had lots of smiles and fun.
Each day in 4K we focus on a different letter as we make our way through the alphabet repeatedly through the year. Today we are on letter Ee. We also do class work together each day that highlights pre-k skills and will help get them ready for kindergarten. Our first work book is a fine motor book practicing making lines of all kinds that will lead into writing. These pages help with following directions, phonics, and motor skills. The books we will use this year come from Education.com and your child can also login to education dot com to play learning games from a device at home. There is a PTO meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 13, in the cafeteria at 6:00PM. Please think about attending a meeting this year. We always like to have new people with new perspectives and new ideas.
