Hi 4K Families!
We are having a great time in 4K already this year. Everyone is doing great getting used to school and all the things we do here. Gym class is going well, everyone loves art class, and Wednesday is library time. Please send books back to school for Wednesday so that your child can get a new one. They love picking new books.
We are on letters J, K, L, M and N this week and I have noticed that kids are really paying attention to the sounds and the pictures when we practice. They are doing great! Each day, we practice with the following alphabet video I made and we use the printable that go with it. Practice the Alphabet Daily with Miss Gilding I am looking forward to see how much they have learned when we do October testing.
In math, we have been counting to 20, practicing identifying shapes, learning about calendar concepts like days weeks and months, and talking about and graphing the weather. It is so much fun.
Skate night is coming up on Thursday, October 6th from 5:30-8:00PM. A flyer about it will be coming home in the folder on Wednesday.
