Hello 4K Families!
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving weekend. We are going to be busy in 4K during the next few weeks.
On Monday, we started our third time through the alphabet. This week, we are doing Aa, Bb, Cc, Dd, and Ee. We have an animal alphabet book that we will be working in for the next 26 school days. Each day we will color the capital letter, write 2 or 3 words that begin with the letter, and learn some facts about the animal that is on the page. This week, the animals are: armadillo, bat, caterpillar, dolphin, and elephant. This is always a fun unit.
We also took pictures for a special ornament gift the kids will be making for families for the holidays. They had fun so far taking the pictures. It should be adorable because everything in 4K ends up adorable.
Speaking of adorable, I hope you found your child's turkey persuasive writing that we made last week. They were in the folders last Tuesday. They had fun with that project.
Report cards will be coming out soon, so I will be checking skills at the beginning of this month for the report card. Everyone is doing such a good job, and we talk often about our alphabet goal.
