Hello 4K Families,
Today in the folders, I am sending the March Parent Engagement homework home with the reading log on the top. Please send the February one back to school when you get a chance.
It is exciting to see some of the kids completing the math challenge homework! They are doing a great job. Just want to remind everyone that you can just send the packet back all in one piece when it is done. If you fill in the tickets, I will cut them apart when they get to school. That way, they won't get lost before they get to the drawing bin. They are due Friday, but you can send them back before then if they are done. If your child would like to earn more tickets this week, I do have a supplemental packet of 8 more pages for 8 more tickets.
Yesterday was letter Z, the last day of Captain Seasalt and the ABC Pirates. Now we will be starting back with letter A and doing different things for each letter. We will be doing some fun dancing and some sign language. We are up to 23 students out of 30 who know all 26 letters! The kids are doing great! We just may get to that alphabet party by the end of the year!
We are finishing up our math workbook today and will be starting to focus on beginning sounds for the next month during our work time. It should be fun to see how well everyone will do!
