This week, in literacy, we are on letters Xx, Yy, Zz, Aa, and Bb. On our second time through the alphabet, we will be watching the Sesame Street podcast for each letter. We continue to practice the entire alphabet each day.
In math, the kids are getting very good at doing their shapes book and following directions. They are also bravely trying to draw shapes and write letters and numbers on their own during work time. It is great to see their confidence grow.
They are brining home a flyer for the Scholastic book fair in their backpacks today. It will be during fall conferences.
